MTECH NE LLC replaced the air-handling unit at the Marriott Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA that feeds the lobby and conference rooms. This work was performed off-hours (weekend) at the clients’s request in order to minimize the impact to hotel guests. The system was decommissioned on Friday evening and back-up and fully functional by Monday morning.
Work consisted of disassembling and exposing the existing air-handling unit, assembling the new unit and fabricating new duct work to accommodate air-handling with existing systems.
The successful completion of this project required precision scheduling, attention to detail, and careful coordination of resources in order to meet the schedule with minimal impact to hotel service.
